Help celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the John C. Hart Memorial Library by entering the "Hart Library In Your Future" poster contest. Imagine what changes will come to the Hart Library in 75 years -- what services will be offered to the students of your district in 2070 AD, and how will that affect the way a library looks.
The contest is open to all Lakeland and Yorktown students in grades 1 - 12. Prizes will be given in each of three groups: Grades 1-5, 6-8 and 9-12. First prizes are $50.00 Savings Bonds donated by NatWest Bank. 2nd prizes are $25.00 Jefferson Valley Mall gift cetrificates donated by the Friends ot Hart Library, and third prizes are $10.00 gift cetrificates to the Artists Buying Club donated by them.
Entries are due by Friday, May 26, 1995. They will be judged on originality, appropriate interpretation of the theme, and artistic quality.
Come to the Library, located at 1130 Main Street, Shrub Oak for an entry form. Call 245- 5262 for more information.
